                   Zach Bellinger

                                Waller High School

                                      Class of 2010

My name is Zach Bellinger and I am a senior at Waller High School and a proud member of the Varsity Bulldog Baseball Team!!  On October 15, 2009 I was selected to play on the USA Athletes International (USAAI) Baseball Team in the 2010 Gold Coast Baseball Tournament (July 28th through August 9, 2010) in Cairns, Australia.  Established in 1992, USAAI is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving amateur athletes, like me, the opportunity to experience the competition, history and culture of other countries on an international level.

The USAAI team will be made up of 16 players from all over the United States; in talking with USAAI, I learned that I was nominated to play on this team by various college coaches and scouts (all of whom are still unknown to me).  The team will spend a total of 13 days in Australia not only playing baseball but also meeting new people, donating our time to the local communities and, most importantly, building friendships that will go beyond race, religion, customs and/or cultures.

As a USAAI team member, I am asking that you consider making a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation to USA Athletes International to help make this opportunity possible not only for me but for all the members involved in this great program.  In an attempt to help make donating easier, there are three (3) different options for you to choose from:

Ø      Payment to Me:  You can donate (cash, check or money order) directly to me; my parents will then forward it on to USAAI to be credited to my account.

Ø      Payment to USAAI:  Attached to this cover is a payment form you can mail directly to USAAI and it will be credited to my account.  Please be sure and keep a copy of the payment form for your tax records.

Ø      On-Line Payment:  Please go to http://usaai.org/donate/zachbellinger and follow the on-screen instructions.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering making a donation to help make this opportunity possible for me and the other members of my USAAI team.  I am looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent both Texas and Waller High School Baseball in the Land Down Under!!

Hanna received a certificate in recognition of her academic achievements for this school year. (It is called an Honors Convocation from the National Junior Honors Society for Academic Honors [maintaining a 95% GPA during the school year]). If she can keep this up, she'll be eligible to be inducted into the Honors Society next year [7th grade]. We are extremely proud of her accomplishment!!!
